George Washington Is My Homie

Actually, John Adams seemed way cooler. Any other history nerds watch the series on HBO? No?

This was my version of what the founding fathers wore. Unfortunately I was slightly out of fashion with my lack of a coat and black stockings instead of white. And my hair wasn't the right style at all! Que tragique*!

I look so depressed in the first one a goofy pic was called for.

Alice Temperly for Target blouse. J. Crew knickers. Jeffrey Campbell oxfords. Forever 21 headband.

*probably Frenglish or whatever but hey I don't take French! And I'm very good at garbling languages... the URL of my blog, anyone? "Fashiones" is mos def a word....

Hey I just wanted to let you know that I think you're such a cool girl.
I live wicked close to you like 20 minutes away (the teen vogue thing said andover, mass I'm not like a stalker)
anyway so I'm sure we both know EXACTLY the way high school girls dress around here (uggs and abercrombie ugh) and the fact that can live around here and have such awesome style is amazing!
There seriously needs to be more people like you around here:)

Wow, this is amazing. I love how you adapted the John Adams look-it still looks feminine, but awesome! You sure made American History more interesting...

I loved that miniseries. And you pull of the ruffled/jaboted shirt thing well. As for the language, I think "que" in Spanish means "what". You got tragique right though! You can create your own language...the language of faaay-shun.

I love how you took inspiration from our founding fathers, in one word: fabulous!

Although I'm not a history nerd, I am a nerd of many other things (and really just an all around nerd!) so I can appreciate your history nerd-ish-ism (not a word, I know, just pretend! :D)
