If That's What You Wanted To Hear

This outfit is so comfy. And I really feel like dressing for comfort. And maximum badassness. Oh wait....

Wet Seal jacket and necklace. American Apparel tank. Thrifted jeans. Doc Marten boots.

Oh, life. Three hour driver's ed courses every night. And just when the snow starts to melt, we get another foot and a half piled on us. Not to mention all this uncooperative technology I have to deal with... digital camera, computer, and iPod are all going against me today... ahaha.

Why can't I be one of these people? And oh, if you happen to read Chinese, can you please tell me what designer this stuff is by? Particularly the mad weird thing the girl second from right is wearing? I'm learning slowly to read it but sadly I've only been at it for a few weeks and only know around 15 or 20 characters. Only 2000 to go! But I can count from 1 to 99.

Get Dressed Best Dressed

Another outfit from god knows when.

Wet Seal jacket. Forever 21 sheer blouse. Gap shirt. H&M skirt. Payless tights. Minnetonka ankle boots.

I have so much fun looking through this collection of wacky hairstyles. I am a sucker for dark, geometric bobs. Probably because my hair could never lie that flat.

I totally would cut my hair like this, but imagine how foolish I would look when I run!
Sexiest hurr ever.
I half want boyish short hair.... But my mom has a pixie cut and if we had the same hair that just would not work. And at the moment I'm obsessed with growing it as long as possible.
Can I be you? k thnx.

I Owe You 1, 2, 3

Finals week has not been kind to me. They weren't nearly as bad freshman year. Of course now there are, um, other factors. And I had to leave in the middle of my math final so Monday isn't a day off after all because I have to go in to make it up. Gahhhhh.

In other news, after watching Blade Runner I felt inspired on Tuesday to dress kind of like I'm a character in a Sci Fi movie. It kind of turned into "throw a bunch of random things together" but oh well. I thought I looked totes BA. Evil smirk:

Wet Seal jacket and cuff. DIY top (worn backwards!). H&M dress (skirt). Random white tights I got a while ago but just found. Doc Martens boots.

Some people were wondering about why I thought chemistry=death. Well, with the individual units over the course of the year I was fine, but having to remember all the stuff in the end for this huge test? Not so much. I despise studying and can rarely bring myself to do it for long, so... first-ever high school B. I can't really complain that much about it, though. Any dreams I had of going into (chemical) science have been shattered.

Lara Stone

I just can't get over how beautiful she is.

When my aunt saw her Boss ad she may have said "Gosh, some of the people they allow to be models!" but I think she is so. Amazing. She's definitely not conventionally pretty (or a "classic beauty" as so many models are incorrectly described as... *cough*Erin Wasson*cough*Agyness Deyn*cough*) but that's boring anyway. She makes me wish I had a gap and never got braces. She just... is incredibly gorgeous. You know what I mean?

Not Your Average Mall Goth

Featuring my lovers Carine Roitfeld, Daul Kim, Irina Lazareanu, Maryna Linchuk, and Kate Lamphear, plus Lily Donaldson, Natasha Poly, an androgynous man (I think) and more!

Big studs on jacket. Oh my god, love.
I don't think he can see very well. Maybe he wouldn't notice if I stole his clothes....
When wearing head-to-toe black, it's important to mix different textures. Or so the magazine said. I like how she's wearing flats and carrying the heels.
It's Daul Kim. It's awesome. Need I say more?
Nylon says something about a hip pantsuit on it's cover. I bet they have this picture (beats Paris Hilton any day!) And she wearing Docs!
That coat is weird. But awesome. It reminds me of a star. And how much do I love limp white hair that doesn't look like it belongs to a 90-year-old.
Yeah, she just looks awesome. That's why models are models.
Gosh, I really have a leather jacket obsession....
Cute hat. Cute pants. Cute girl.
All black plus her makeup equals awesomeness.

A leather zip skirt. A leather zip skirt. A leather zip skirt. And a black fashion cape!

Yeah, I spent way too much time on Jak & Jil.

The Velvet Dress Chronicles

When I was moving my room, one of the things I rediscovered was this velvet dress I had thrifted for a Halloween costume back in 7th grade.

That is a super hot photo, with me the goth and my buddy Darth Vader (it's actually Erika, not that most people know who that is!). But anyway, I put it on, somewhat inspired by the post over at Flying Saucer, and it still fit and actually looked pretty decent.

It even had some nice embroidery details on the neckline.

I then realized that I was unused to just throwing a dress on and calling it an outfit, and admittedly I also wanted to hide the, erm, roundness of my stomach at that moment in time. I searched for a blouse to wear over it to no avail, but then I realized duh! The poofy skirt I made! It was very Miu Miu...

...so I figured, why not complete the effect with my bib/fake collar thing.

Thrifted dress. Forever 21 neck thing, headband, and socks. Skirt made by me. Random ballet flats.

I'm not used to dressing this... I don't know, cutely, girlishly? But my style is all over the place so whatever. I got plenty of interesting looks when I wore this to Blinds-To-Go, though.

And later (today, probably?) I'm going to do a post at Nice and Shiny's request of how to make the bloomers (it's pretty easy, really).
