Honey, I'm Home!

Ah, nothing like a delicious Fuddruckers veggie burger to fill the stomach, no? Ahaha the epitome of delicious but gross... so instead let's think about these outfit pictures from at least a week ago. Yeah, I'm a little behind.

Wet Seal jacket. DIY dress. Target shirt. Minnetonka ankle boots.

And I celebrated V-day by... going to teh moll with my buddies, Danielle and Red. We took a lot of beauteous photos (though unfortunately we didn't catch me drop-crotch attacking Danielle. [it's not as bad as it sounds!])

I look positively deranged as I grab at a pair of boots... which I didn't get despite the fact they were only $35... but I'm very slowly developing self control.
Going wild at Sears....

Sunglasses and hats!

Dressing room at Wet Seal. I actually got the jeans... only $9!

And don't forget the wild antics in the car ride home. Everyone crammed in the back seat is probably going to have serious issues for the rest of their lives, but that's okay. It was fun.

Not captured in camera: me spazzing out and scaring middle-aged women shopping at Victoria's Secret, me sticking a thong in Red's hair (I am so mature, guys), and Danielle and I chasing Red around Nordstrom with expresso beans. We're not sure why she's so afraid of them... except we kept putting them in her hood and bag....

Dear blog, I am not being good to you! Since having a stupid cold=going to bed early and waking up late, I do have an excuse! Plus I need to work off that vacation laziness. But, in totally non-fashion related news, on Sunday I went to a huge track meet, in which due to my friend's sickness I ended up running the two-mile instead of my signature (haha) one-mile. And, surprise surprise, it wasn't nearly as bad as you would think; I ended up coming in third in my heat of about 30 people and was 17 seconds off the state qualifying time, so I ended getting switched to the two-mile permanently! Wow, things change quickly. It was hilarious to see my absent friend's name on the big scoreboard-type thing instead of mine though, because my name is totally Danielle.

Mad leg disproportioness!

My lovely new booties.
Target dress. Forever 21 lace gloves, studded rings, and pearl bracelet. Wet Seal charm bracelet and necklaces. Vintage hunting belt. Minnetonka moccasin boots.

Today I wore this with my black faux fur H&M jacket over it as well since it was rather cold (picture me at the bus stop at 7 AM, when the temperature's below freezing, in nude fishnets, which my friend fashion commentator Erika astutely called "the most pointless tights ever").

Oh yes, and I forgot:
Ahaha sledding at night on a sticky, non-steep hill=the best. Now I really need to be getting to bed.

P.S. It's totally my quarter birthday! Time to get my freakin' learner's permit.

Well, What Do You Do At Sleepovers?

Clearly not as many cool things as us.

P.S. Forever 21 really upped their shoe game! Too bad I fail at making money....

You Are A Getaway Car

Yesterday was only a half day of school, thank god. It was quite painless except for the school pep rally which was really horrible but also mercifully short. The part involving the dirty dancing football players was wholly unnecessary though, not to mention extremely gross because those football players do carry some extra weight which isn't attractive when they're pretending to hump each other. Ugh. It was scarring.

Dress made by me. Forever 21 blouse. Hue tights. Topshop flats.

I got new glasses. I never wore my old ones because I only need them for seeing distance and my vision isn't that bad but I really like these ones so I wore them all day. Unfortunately this was the best picture I got... my surprised face at the pep rally when some creeper freshman with a camera came over to sit on on the sophomore bleachers! jk we love you Red.
Afterwards "The Three Muskateers" went on a "run" and then played on a playground. Again. This time with pictures.

Here we have... two days outfits!

H&M furry jacket. Target v-neck. Wet Seal harem pants. Doc Martens boots.

Wet Seal jacket. Gap pullover. DIY bloomers. Target socks. Minnetonka boots.

Yesterday was the cross country end of the year party, and look what my buds and I won!

You can't really see it but it's the three musketeers award. Aww.

Selectivity Isn't My Strong Point

...which explains why I felt the need to post half the pics Amy took of me. Whatever. You can see the rest here if you so desire. And yes, this is the outfit that I put together in 5 minutes inspired by the unnamed "style icon".

The above one is my favorite, and my profile pic on Facebook.

And I Like It

The first half of the day was spent doing this:

Gotta protect the innocent, y'all:

I seriously ate most of those fries. And I didn't even have to run yesterday. The cross country season is (finally) over, so I might be able to take some better outfit pictures. Might being the operative word. Anywho, the second half of the day was spend doing this:

Forever 21 jacket. Target t-shirt. American Apparel leggings. Thrifted fur headband thing and purse. Converse sneakers.

Well, not doing that exactly, but wearing that and going shopping on Newbury Street. Though my search for good, reasonably priced (i.e. sub-$150... hey, it was for my b-day and it's not my fault boots are so freakin' expensive) over-the-knee boots (or just any good, affordable boots in general) was fruitless, I found some great stuff. Here is my new favorite outfit:

I found nothing at Urban Outfitters (why is everything so expensive?) but at Zara I found these great YSL-esque pants. They also had two different types of dropped-crotch pants (naturally not my size. Sizing at Zara is really erratic in my experience...) and not much else that was interesting. At Second Time Around Vintage, I found this great cardigan with an attached "fur" stole, which was actually Banana Republic (!). The fur color looks sort of weird with my hair, they're too close in color or something. But I still like it. And I couldn't resist grabbing a neon bra thingy at American Apparel. I also got a few other things that I was to lazy to photograph.
