The Weather's So Breezy, Man Why Can't Life Always Be This Easy?

Happy Halloween, peeps! I finally wore my "hoochie-mama" jeans to school on Wednesday (I'm so far behind, I know).

And I managed to look like a total hipster kiddo. Well, not the pose, but....

Urban Behavior cardigan. Target t-shirt. Zara jeans. Claire's scarf. Converse sneakers. Forever 21 belt and sunglasses (which don't worry, I didn't actually wear on that downcast day...).

Someone suggested I try looking away from the camera. I don't really think that helped. FYI, I don't actually look like that in real life. A better representation of what I actually look like is evidenced in my current Facebook profile pic:

Hello, Frankie and Victoria, me being awkward, bad lighting, and Photobooth! It won't let me make it any smaller... gah. You'll have to click to see the whole thing. But my point is, my face isn't actually that scary.

Just Dance

First of all, I really hate these shorts. They're not comfortable at all, and way too short. I'm still thinking about it two days later....

Thrifted Sonia Rykiel blazer. American Apparel v-neck. Rogan for Target shorts. Forever 21 socks. Old Navy heels.

I am so busy... I don't even know what I'm going to be for Halloween and we're having a costume run in XC today. Yay.

Now for a collective "aww!"

Anyway this is what I wore yesterday.

Wet Seal jacket. Target dress. Stockings that ripped on their own... but I like them. Doc Martens boots.

I've been feeling so tired in the mornings lately (well, more so than usual). It's weird.

And if anyone knows what the title is, they win a pair. In electric blue. Just kidding.

"I Had A Pair Of Floral Print Leggings In The 90s, But Then I Saw How Ridiculous They Looked On Other People, And I Stopped Wearing Them"

That's Erika, again. I wonder what she's think of these. I wonder what she'd think of this blog? Haha I don't plan on telling her because I don't think she'd be that interested.

Wet Seal jacket. Forever 21 dress. Target leggings. Doc Marten boots.

My mom's new camera is so beautiful. She won't let me steal it so I'm stuck with the crappy old one. I swear my face doesn't actually look that shiny/red/gross in real life.

I Don't Shine If You Don't Shine

OMFG! Look wut mah hurr duzz. Sick, right?

Forever 21 sweater (which this Abercrombie loving girl at my school also has... bet she doesn't know it's Balenciaga *instant fashion superiority*). Topshop jodhpurs. Urban Outfitters scarf. Garment District shoes.

Yes, I'm doing that Balenciaga thing again.... It's unbelievable how big these pants are on me. You can't tell in the picture but the waist is HUGE. I love them anyway.

So, exciting thing happened at my school Friday. I was in the bathroom right before 2nd block, and I hear someone saying something over the loudspeaker. It was our school's principal, who only comes on when something serious is going on, like tomorrow is supposed to be "national skip school day" or something. I don't even really know what he looks like (well we have 6 vice principals you'd have to get through first to see him). But anyway, I can't really hear what he's saying. So I chill in the bathroom for a few more minutes before I go back to class. When I get there, my teacher is asking, "Has there ever been a lockdown before?" I was like, WTF, and I asked him what the announcement was. He said no one's allowed to leave the classroom. Oh great. So class continues, kind of as usual, until one kid sees a police guy with a German shepherd walk by our door. At this point, everyone's like "Drug bust!" So yeah, it was a drug bust. Or supposably, it was to prove that no one in our school did drugs while actually in school. Um, they apparently don't know about the designated pot bathroom. Surprisingly, only one arrest was made, a kid who had a bunch of marijuana in his car, and only one person had weed in his locker. I think this is because 10 people got caught dealing/buying last weekend, 6 from my school and funnily enough 3 or so from the local prep school. But then again George Bush went there, so who knows. Well, Victoria and Tina go there too. I'll have to ask.... It was all quite exciting and hilarious. Not really, but yeah, it was. Figures that the bored "rich" kids in my town are huge druggies XD.

Lara Stone

I just can't get over how beautiful she is.

When my aunt saw her Boss ad she may have said "Gosh, some of the people they allow to be models!" but I think she is so. Amazing. She's definitely not conventionally pretty (or a "classic beauty" as so many models are incorrectly described as... *cough*Erin Wasson*cough*Agyness Deyn*cough*) but that's boring anyway. She makes me wish I had a gap and never got braces. She just... is incredibly gorgeous. You know what I mean?

"Well, Hannah, You're Looking Very Scottish Today"

Thanks for the quote, Erika. I was thinking more schoolgirl, but whatever.

Alice Temperly for Target blouse. My friend's old Catholic school skirt. Wet Seal jacket. Mom's old belt. Target socks. Jeffrey Campbell shoes.

I called it my awkward belt because it kept coming untied (it doesn't fit around my waist, so I tied it) at the wrong moments, i.e. when I was giving an oral presentation, when I was walking down the hall with my hands full, etc. And then it made a really loud jingly noise when I was retying it. Fun.

In The Weird Light

It's so dark in the mornings now. Daylight savings time?

Hanes customized t-shirt. Topshop pants. Erin Fetherston for Target cardigan. Payless shoes.

She's Wearing Fishnets!

I look dead here. Early morning.... Oh and I finally cleaned/finished moving into my room/got a new rug!

Forever 21 jacket. American Apparel tank top. Skirt, sewn by me. Hanes nude fishnets (which you can't really see but look really cool). Hot Topic boots.

I never, uhm, released an official statement about the Teen Vogue contest, but yeah I didn't make it to the top 10. No hard feelings. I'm clearly just too fash for the general public. Anyway, some people made it to the top 10 who deserved it, such as Ali, Grace, Wendy, Tergel, Callie, and my personal fav Ruby. So vote for them!

And yes, I finally got a new (Halloween-themed) header.

Not Your Average Mall Goth

Featuring my lovers Carine Roitfeld, Daul Kim, Irina Lazareanu, Maryna Linchuk, and Kate Lamphear, plus Lily Donaldson, Natasha Poly, an androgynous man (I think) and more!

Big studs on jacket. Oh my god, love.
I don't think he can see very well. Maybe he wouldn't notice if I stole his clothes....
When wearing head-to-toe black, it's important to mix different textures. Or so the magazine said. I like how she's wearing flats and carrying the heels.
It's Daul Kim. It's awesome. Need I say more?
Nylon says something about a hip pantsuit on it's cover. I bet they have this picture (beats Paris Hilton any day!) And she wearing Docs!
That coat is weird. But awesome. It reminds me of a star. And how much do I love limp white hair that doesn't look like it belongs to a 90-year-old.
Yeah, she just looks awesome. That's why models are models.
Gosh, I really have a leather jacket obsession....
Cute hat. Cute pants. Cute girl.
All black plus her makeup equals awesomeness.

A leather zip skirt. A leather zip skirt. A leather zip skirt. And a black fashion cape!

Yeah, I spent way too much time on Jak & Jil.

I'm Such A Ripoff

Could it be? No! It couldn't!

Yessss! It's Dolce and Gabbana on the cheap.

Dolce Way:

Hannah Cheeto Way:

Hollister shirt (um, it's old). Thrifted scarf, belt, and tartan skirt. Target socks. Payless shoes.

And yes, my hair is clearly from the 70s when not flat ironed....

Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion Theory

I love standardized testing. Don't you? Yesterday morning, I took the PSAT. I also took the PSAT last year, and I've taken the SSAT three times (6th, 8th, and 9th grade). I'll probably take the PSAT again next year and then the SAT senior year. I might take it junior year too if I'm allowed to. And that's not to mention all the requisite SAT tutoring... Fun fun fun. And yes, that was sarcasm. And the title is from my chemistry homework. It has to do with figuring out how compounds are shaped or something. The day science ends up on one of those tests will be the day I fail. This was really a pointless rant, but anyway yeah.

So, I got a (much-needed) haircut on Friday. I told him I wanted blunt bangs and my hair dresser did that and more. He thinned out my hair so so much, but that's a good thing so it doesn't look like a triangle (ouch 6th grade...). Well, we'll see what happens when I wash it.

And Friday's outfit:

Target dress. Forever 21 blazer. American Apparel leggings. Minnetonka moccasin boots.

I was wearing it with this awesome studded cuff I got which I took off and left somewhere at school! Stupid stupid stupid. Hopefully I'll get it back. I think I am a legit shopping addict though.

I Like Leather, Unless It's Real

Or maybe I just can't afford the real thing. Huh. Anyway, here's an old outfit from Tuesday:

I call this the "just got my leg amputated" pose. Seriously, I don't know what I'm doing.

Wet Seal jacket. American Apparel dress. Sheer tights from Building 19. Doc Marten boots.

And the stockings! I put them one in the morning, brand new out of the package, and I took these pictures soon after. But, by the time I get to first block, the right leg has two huge runs in it! So I made a run on the other side to match. That's what I get for buying them for one dollah!

And people seem to think I should get the fake Docs in the previous post. Hmmm... of course, I'm now in love with these.
