Why Yes, I Got A Haircut

Dressing like a gangsturrr or an emooo is so two days ago. Up-to-date people prefer the weird punk Swedish housewife look.

Thrifted dress. Hanes t-shirt. DIY ripped tights. Wet Seal neckace/"body chain", held together with a fake Chanel earring I'm embarrassed to own. Minnetonka ankle boots.

I wanted to try shorter bangs (Betty Page, anyone? =P) so yeah. I almost wanted to go shorter than they are here but then... I don't know. It makes me look kinda different. But it's more convenient mostly than longer bangs. And now I don't have to worry about going in for trims for a good long while!

"So you want shorter bangs?"
"Yeah"
"Do you want me to make them look like you've been in a car crash?"
"...maybe next time."

How cute the haircut is!
And I love the clash between the punk-ish tights and the sweet dress.

I Like the chain, I like the dress, I like the DIY tights...

but i would combine the tights to a more edgy, urban look, not to this romantic dress.

I think the style is too overloaded. Focus on one key-piece and set it up instead of putting everything together what´s "hip". Then, you RULE, girl.

Fab hair and I love those tights!
I have a question for you (or anyone else with some advice who wants to comment back) I just bought a black leather mini skirt from a thrift store and I was wondering how you would suggest styling it. I'm trying to stay away from 80s biker chick...haha.
Thanks!

Shorter bangs look great on you, mine were like that when I first got them cut and it looked silly! I love the dress with the tights, how did you make them? Is it as obvious/easy as I think? Char x
