So Demode!

Christopher Kane way:

Martin Margiela way:

Hannah Cheeto way:

H&M vest. ??? lace tank top. Jeans I customized. Old Navy wedges.

One of the older builders walked down the driveway right as I took this picture. He thought I was running away from a bee. Needless to say I ran inside immediately to take the detail pictures. Anyway I "customized" these jeans by ripping, bleaching, and pinning them into skinnies with safety pins (the sewing machine is packed away somewhere... but I kind of like the way it looks). Original these were a pair of ugly fake too big 7 For All Mankind jeans I got on Ebay two years ago that I wore once, but now I like the way they came out! I'm not entirely sure what else I'm going to wear with them, though, any suggestions?

Wow these look awesome. I have pair of exceptionally baggy jeans that would look awesome like this. I'm feeling a copy cat coming on...

Those jeans are delicious. I've always wanted a pair of destroyed jeans, but didn't want to buy a $60 pair or mess up my perfectly fine jeans now.

Btw, how do those Old Navy shoes feel? Like, are they comfy? 'Cause some shoes are cute some seems to need breaking in...

I like that you didn't just give up on the jeans and turned them into something awesome, I'll have to try to keep that mindset. I think you could pair them with something slightly feminine to make a nice contrast.

You look more badass than the both of them.!
Love the menswear vest with it. I'd also try a deep plum long sleeved top.
Or something very prim and lady like and then BAM jeans.

Thanks for all the ideas!

sunset- those Old Navy shoes are probably the most comfortable heels I've ever worn! They didn't even have to be broken in.

OHMEGEE!! Those look absolutely fabulous. Maybe with colored tights underneath...that way you could wear them to school. Unless your school doesn't have sucky rules like mine. Grrr.. Ah well!

I ripped my jeans like this a while ago and put them in the wash - then my mom threw them out!! So glad I'm moving out in 2 weeks...

Wow. They look AMAZING. Totally trying this one out. Did you rip them or cut them?

Hannah said...

hanna- I cut them with scissors. But I think when they got bleached and then washed it caused them to get perfectly frayed....
