Anyway that's what my living room currently looks like... thank you plasterers! And the temporary stairs... well they're better than the ladder that used to be there.

I completely get what you mean, I never seem to get the feel/color/texture of outfits just right in pictures either. But I still love yours! The touch of Doc Martens seems to go with too many things, I think...
And I have to say, I LOVE your hair. Some of my favorite qualities about hair, aka the (natural) red, wavy/curly tousled look, long-ish, and sweepy fringe = my dream hair. So I am supremely jealous of you!
