Don't Pretend You Ever Forget About Me

My order from Forever 21 came! I was pleasantly surprised because I never got a shipping confirmation and wasn't sure if it had even shipped yet.

In a flash of inspiration (due to the fact that the window in my parent's room was covered with a big green sheet) I decided to do more "arty" (um yeah right) photos with my self timer in the parts of my house that are getting renovated to model my purchases.

I love my turban, and the dress is pretty good, though the zipper is hard to work with and, you can't tell in the picture but it's not as flattering as I might have appreciated (maybe I should lay off the stupid bloating junk food... yeah right). The rhinestone thing on the turban is actually a pin, and I can remove it and put it on something else if I so desire. (excuse my expression in this picture... and no I can't do any other poses or I look like an idiot! I'm not Stephanie!)

I love this skirt! It is just adorable. I love the fake glasses too, as overplayed as they are. I actually saw a girl at school wearing some today (granted, she was a hip, AA-loving ABC girl and was probably from NYC or somewhere). The skirt is really short, though. Maybe I'll have to wear it lower than at my waist....

Yes, there's a reason I'm not a hand model. Despite my obsessive lotion application, my hands are still red and dry....

H&M jacket. Wet Seal t-shirt. Abercrombie skinny jeans. Old Navy flats.

And here's the outfit I actually wore today (yawn), minus the glasses. I was in a serious style rut this morning; it took me like half an hour to pick this out....

Maybe you're right, but from what I can tell you look overly phyne in that dress. An overall thumbs up on the purchases!

Using the "work in progress renovation" as a background for your outfit pics is amazing! Makes me wish my house was under construction!
